1-Interpersonal Roles

3-Decisional Roles




1-Interpersonal Roles:Involve interactions with his/her employees for the purpose of achieving organizational goals.


A) Leader : Responsible for staffing, training, and associated duties.



B) Figurehead :The symbolic head of the organization.



C) Liaison : Maintains the communication between all contacts and informers that compose the organizational network.



2-Informational Roles:Related to collecting, receiving, and disseminating information.


A) Monitor : Seeks internal and external information about issues that can affect the organization.



B) Disseminator : Transmits all import information received from outsiders to the members of the organization.


C) Spokesperson : Transmits information about the organization to outsiders.



3-Decisional Roles:Involve making significant decisions that affect the organization.


A)Entrepreneur : Seeks opportunities. Basically they search for change, respond to it, and exploit it.



B) Negotiator : Represents the organization at major negotiations.



C) Resource Allocator : Makes or approves all significant decisions related to the allocation of resources.



D) Disturbance Handler : Responsible for corrective action when the organization faces disturbances.
